not a peacemaker, neighbor,
lawyer, or laborer.

He claims a popular vision,
though people of volition
made no such decision.

Our president has puppets
who send pundits to summits
on military budgets.

He has fool's gold in his teeth
trapping followers who cede
the loyalty he so needs.

Our president resides
in a glass kingdom of cries
from stolen young lives.

I'd pity him, it's true,
if he were not the one who
makes chaos ensue.
